Living in Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, New York, Kathryn Heuzey works on commissions
for portraits, landscapes, still lifes in oil and pencil, murals and handmade painted tiles
and ceramics.
Trained at Skidmore College - BS of Studio Arts, New York University - MA of Art Therapy,
Tyler School of Art in Rome and with artist Schilli Maier. She has shown in museums and
galleries in New York State, Virginia and Texas.
Her work has been selected for publication in "The Best of Oil Painting," 1996;
"Floral Inspirations." 1997 and "Best of Sketching and Drawing," 1998.
Kathryn Heuzey takes pride in being an active member and contributor in her community.
She teaches privately as well as in public school and adult education programs and has
donated her art work in support of numerous charities.
She feels that her work is about the world around her - the domestic life, the people
and the beautiful landscapes of the North Shore of Long Island.
